You have been given your wonderful body, this is given to you by God or Nature or Your Mother, whatever is your belief. We have been given also User’s Manual for our body – by Mother Nature. Nature has meant this body to function in much higher temperatures, it is meant to be used much more actively. Not a long time ago people had to move a lot just to get something to eat, to make fire, to make home.  Since then, a lot has changed. We are having much more comfort around us, thus our bodies consequently also move less in order to survive.

Genetically we need almost ten generations to adapt to the changes in our environment around. Today life happens much faster than our bodies genetically are ready to adapt to. Our body is not yet able to process a lot of things we eat or do. For example, it can not process the nice cake that our brains want to eat. We dont spend the energy that it contains.

We are almost the first generation who need additional physical activity in order to live well, as in order to survive we dont need to walk, run as much as our bodies are meant to. Additionally, each of us has our own level of physical activity that is needed. It depends on our daily physical activity, stress, but also genetics – the way our body works.

Therefore, for us to be healthy and fit – we need to do additional activity and it shall be regular. Is it yoga, pilates, jogging, tennis or anything else, it does not matter – as long as it keeps you energized, exercises your body, is regular and is in line with the energy you consume.
